We meet you at the very first meeting and are with you from beginning to end through the entire process of building your custom home. You are not passed down to a site foreman or other office personnel. We work with the our customers the entire time and we are on the ground and at your project overseeing the process personally.

Steve Koontz
Owner of SL Koontz Contractors, LLC brings with him 35 years of land, site development and building industry experience as well as a reputation for attention to detail. Steve has led numerous local projects to successful completion, including: renovation of a commercial office building in downtown Hagerstown, MD; land development and construction of a 30 unit condominium project, complete rehab and resale of several homes in Washington County, MD; new construction of multiple housing developments in Franklin County, PA & Washington County, MD, including all development infrastructure and the completion of 100+ single family homes.

Ron Koontz
Steve’s father and Co-owner of SL Koontz Contractors brings with him several years of land development, scheduling and management of hundreds of new homes and a wide array of experience dealing with State and Local Agencies. Ron is very Customer oriented and eager to help ensure a smooth process for all involved.
